This Ain't No Picnic is a new music festival whose first edition will take place August 27-28, 2022, at Brookside at the Rose Bowl, which is a golf course/event venue, you guessed it, next to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. The festival is a revival of an indie/alternative festival of the same name that took place in Orange County in the late 90s/early 2000s but will now also include hip-hop and dance music so that it has similar variety to larger festivals like Coachella, but is a bit closer to home for Los Angeles area residents and visitors.

Brookside at the Rose Bowl
The event is all ages, but the Clubhouse area is 21+. Children 5 and under are free. The site is accessible at noon both days with curfews at 11 pm on Saturday and 10 pm on Sunday.
