Tinashe

Tinashe Kachingwe, who goes by first name alone, is an alternative R&B artist (also a former child actor) whose sound has been growing in versatility especially since she parted ways with her previous label, RCA, in 2019. Her music generally focuses on slow jams and mid-tempo pop ballads, but she has lately been more methodically incorporating things like trap beats, jungle beats, and general hip-hop type dynamics as well. She has also been exploring an EDM angle on some of her tracks. Her work continues to be anchored in the R&B world, guided by her sharp pop instincts.
