Chloe x Halle

Chloe x Halle is the duo of sisters Chloe and Halle Bailey, who have also been doing work on various TV shows as actors over the years. Their music grew out of their DIY home recordings and still retains the type of creative energy that comes from that set up. They especially stand out in their vocal harmonizing and their knack for writing catchy melodies. Their vocals are essential to their arrangements in terms of adding layers of melodies. They work mostly in the alternative R&B style with more than a passing interest in trap beats and indie pop. Perhaps not surprisingly, the more they get established in the music scene, the glossier their work has become, but without losing much of the artistic spark they started out with.
