Bonnaroo is a music festival that takes place annually, typically in June, in the Bonnaroo farm in Manchester, Tennessee, 60 miles southwest of Nashville. It is a festival that showcases a diverse array of musical traditions, including rock, hip-hop, electronics, roots music, folk, country, and bluegrass. It started in 2002 and quickly became one of the major festivals held in the US in size and popularity. The 2020 gathering was cancelled due to COVID 19, and the start date was moved to September in 2021 for the same reason, but it has since returned to its June time slot.
