SG Lewis

SG Lewis (as in, Samuel George) is a singer-songwriter and producer who creates heavily synth driven pop that draws its inspiration partly from '80s pop and partly from '70s classic disco sound. His music is typically flashy and bright, accented by catchy bursts of synth passages that are anchored by a solid four on the floor beat. One can almost feel the big bell-bottoms and taste the polyester disco flavors in his songs. The affection he has for that period's music makes its presence felt in his work thoroughly. His production is well-polished and he does an excellent job in capturing the classic era of this dance genre in terms of its textures and grooves with his arrangements.
