Confidence Man

Confidence Man is a party band that is fully committed to synth-driven dance pop, lively tempo, and plenty of tongue-in-cheek humorous songs. It is made up of a synth player and a drummer, both of whom usually hanging in the back covered in a dark veil to hide their identity as they lay down the grooves and the synth work, plus two singers, not at all covered, handling the vocals and providing plenty of choreographed dance moves in the front. Underneath all the strong '90s dance pop vibes and infectious sense of fun and joy, the band also puts together some seriously catchy tunes that often rise effortlessly to earworm levels. In a real sense they appear as next generation successors of a legacy that stretches back to LCD Soundsystem, Deee-Lite, and Tom-Tom Club.
