Coachella 2026

The Coachella Festival is one of the longest running modern mega festivals in the US, its origin going back to 1999. It is held at the Empire Polo Club grounds located in Indio in the Coachella Valley in California, near Palm Springs. The festival focuses mostly in indie and alternative rock, with some alt country, hip-hop, occasional jazz thrown in. Having become one of the top festivals in the country, it attracts a lot of big names, which means its headliners are usually stadium-level megastars, which in turn means, a relatively lesser known act that is included in one of the stages can consider it a career-defining break.
