Die Spitz

Die Spitz is an Austin based indie rock band whose songs come in a range of neighboring styles between old school grunge, harder edges of rock, and metal. The band sports multiple songwriters, each with her own touch, which accounts for the variety pack nature of their songs. The same three, except for the bassist Kate Halter, also take turns on the lead vocals. There is some fluidity between the drummer position and the guitars, where members can be seen regularly swapping instruments during their set. They play a brand of rock that is forceful, delivered loud and fast with powerful riffs and plenty of muscle end to end, That said, they also occasionally also let out a melodic tune or two along the way.
