Pleasure Venom is an Austin based band that works mostly in the punk, punk rock, and hard rock range, playing energetic romps with screaming guitars and aggressive drums. Their music is driven by singer Audrey Campbell's explosive voice and no-nonsense, politically charged frontal attack. Her intensity is matched by the band who operates at a high gear with blazing guitar riffs and a rhythm section that can hammer like a metal band. Campbell and drummer Thomas Valles have been the only constants in the band since their start in 2016. They are not strangers to shifting into a gothic, semi-ambient drone mid-song every now and then. Their first EP, Hunt occasionally had post-punk moments, but that has mostly been pushed aside at this point.
