Domico

Domico (aka ドミコ) is the Japanese guitar/drums duo with Hikaru Sakashita on guitars and vocals, and Keita Hasegawa on drums, who play an energetic and enthusiastic form of rock that amalgamates elements of classic hard rock and psychedelic with a contemporary indie sound. There are some metal and math rock influences in their songs that are not too far from the surface, as well as an additional layer of Brit pop that is especially detectable on the melodic front and in Sakashita's vocal leads. Their command over the foundational idioms of these styles enables them to traverse genre lines with relative ease. They are a dynamic band on stage with a high-powered engine that does not slow down much.
