Pkew Pkew Pkew

Pkew Pkew Pkew (or Pkewx3) is a high octane rock band that has been evolving stepwise in each album from their scrappy beer and pizza fuelled skateboard punk selves to becoming a beer and pizza fuelled skateboard punk band that has been paying more attention to songwriting, melodic flow and such. In a way, they have been walking that tricky line of refining their sound while not losing track of rowdy party punk, which is the core of that sound. Their 2022 outing Open Bar was produced by Craig Finn (from The Hold Steady), who has been a part of this slow transformation in the band's overall sound. As things stand, they are still the same dudes who are ready to hit the bar at the end of the day, but they now have their anthems, songs that the whole bar can sing-along to bring to the party.
