The Pitchfork Music Festival London made its debut in November of 2022. It is an offshoot of the Pitchfork Festival, organized by Pitchfork Media, that has taken place in Chicago since 2006 and joins the Paris version, which began in 2011, and the Berlin version, also making its debut in the same month. The lineup is what one might expect from Pitchfork: a variety of non-mainstream artists who nonetheless enjoy significant followings and critical acclaim. The format, however, differs from the Chicago festival in that it takes place over 7 days at more than 14 different venues rather than at a festival grounds. Those venues for 2023 are Café Oto, Koko, Earth Theatre, Roundhouse, Hackney Church, The Victoria, Earth Hall, Eventim Apollo, Kings Place, Shacklewell Arms, Royal Albert Hall, The Barbican, Village Underground and multiple Dalton venues.
