Kaicrewsade

Kaicrewsade (Kai for short) is a Chicago based hip-hop artist who brings strong jazz influences into his music. He keeps it relaxed in his tone and loose in his flow. His arrangements are dynamic and often involve brass or other instruments taking smooth solos in the background while he's rapping at the front, rhyming, looping, or just taking a step back from the mic and letting his chill grooves keep rolling. There is a woozy and somewhat dreamy atmosphere to his songs that feels simultaneously fresh and vintage. He likes to shift gears midstream in his songs to switch up the tempo, style or the overall feel.
