Hopscotch 2026

The Hopscotch music festival has been around since 2010. It is typically a 3-day affair, taking place in Raleigh, NC, at both indoor and outdoor venues downtown. Its scope had been somewhat reduced in recent years, likely due to the concurrent proliferation of music festivals since its inception, but the organizers seem to have taken a step up starting in 2023. It has always been able to attract well-known artists from a variety of genres, but with an emphasis on indie rock/pop. It also gives an opportunity for local acts to play for a larger audience. This year there are two outdoor stages at City Plaza and Moore Square (which is open free to the public) as well as 6 clubs that will host performances: Lincoln Theatre, Kings, The Pour House, Slim's, Nash Hall and Neptunes. In addition to music, several comedians will also be performing.
