Duckwrth

Duckwrth is the name used by the eclectic hip-hop artist, rapper, singer Jared Lee, who often crosses genre boundaries as he mixes it with soul and R&B, and makes use of some of the techno, punk rock, and industrial elements on occasion. His music comes with a built-in pop sheen that is well-polished but does not go overboard. He usually has his melodies up front in his songs, which are well put together production-wise, with attention paid to details. He goes beyond conventional hip-hop breakbeats and brings in big funky beats or syncopated Latin beats with some regularity. His music is typically upbeat and exudes a party time feel, but he has gone relatively dark at times (see 2019's The Falling Man).
