Orion Sun

Orion Sun is the moniker used by R&B artist, singer-songwriter Tiffany Majette, who delivers R&B that is steeped in an indie mindset and a DIY feel. A consistent low-key temperament and a smooth, mellow flow tend to permeate her music. She sings in an unimposing but confident smoky voice that carries a sorrowful resonance. She has a way of melding the bits of vocabulary she borrows from adjacent genres, such as hip-hop, folk, and jazz, and integrates them gently into her own sound. Her songs carry some personal weight and play like the field notes of an artist navigating the tricky terrain of relationships and personal growth.
