Something In The Water (SITW) is a 3-day music festival founded by Pharrell Williams that began in 2019. It began in Williams' hometown of Virginia Beach before being canceled for 2020 and 2021. After Williams' cousin was killed by a Virginia Beach police officer in 2021, Williams moved SITW to DC for 2022, citing the 'toxic energy' in Virginia Beach. However, it returns to Virginia Beach for 2023, due to popular demand.
SITW features primarily pop and hip-hop artists, and quite in-demand ones at that, the cachet of being associated with Williams clearly being an asset in that regard. 2023's version will have 2 large stages on the beach at 3rd and 10th streets.

Oceanfront
The festival is all-ages, Children 5 and under are free. No chairs, backpacks or tents allowed. Re-entry allowed until 6pm.
