Molly Tuttle is a singer-songwriter and a renowned musician on the guitar and the banjo, whose work is primarily focused on bluegrass and country. She has played mainstream folk tunes in the past as well. Despite her high technical skills on both instruments, her songs and her playing style leans more towards emotional and melodic style. She is also a gifted singer with a clear, bright voice and a remarkable knack for storytelling. She started playing with her band Golden Highway in 2022, and that classic bluegrass set up with a fiddle, a banjo, an upright bass and so on, has proved to be very productive and effective in showcasing her music. Her 2020 release ... but i'd rather be with you is an album of covers including songs by The National and Rolling Stones.
