Bike is a psychedelic quartet from São Paulo, Brazil, whose music brings a great deal of the late '60s and early '70s acid trip magic into contemporary music. The band grew out of guitarist-singer Julito Cavalcante's solo work and evolved into a full band that continues to explore the classic sound of the genre especially circa early Pink Floyd. There is some infusion of Brazilian elements in to their music, though it tends to compete with other influences as well, including krautrock and old school, vintage prog. They are clearly not interested in anchoring their work in Tropicália or prioritize Latin flavors over other components. The result is fairly close to being straight up psychedelic rock with a strong retro feel, intricate textures, and top-notch songwriting paired with crisp and confident delivery.
