Wild Child

Wild Child is a band formed around the core duo of Alexander Beggins and Kelsey Wilson, who adopt a mellow and melodic combination of indie pop and folk. The band comes with plenty of catchy tunesmithing as they create songs that feel both new and familiar at the same time. Their lineup often includes various strings and horn instruments in the mix. There is a classic, throwback quality to their sound, aided in no small part by the vibrancy of WIlson's voice. Their music is naturally buoyant and maintains a relaxed flow even at the band's angstiest. They have been quite consistent in tone and execution over the span of their career, though perhaps with a shift that happened when they stylistically moved from mostly folk to mostly pop early on.
