Sir Woman is a side-project of Kelsey Wilson (of Wild Child), where she explores R&B, soul, and funk. For the most part, it is a bright and sunny type of soul, with a soft, uplifting touch. There are clear '70s vibes in her music, especially in the way she mixes R&B and soft rock. She taps into some of the Carole King sound, in tone, little motifs and turns she occasionally uses, as well as in some of her vocal mannerisms. There is also a bit of the soulful version of Laurel Canyon in her music. Her arrangements are usually piano and keyboard heavy, with a gentle jazzy touch. She has a strong voice that expresses quite a bit of nuance.
