Editrix is a power trio with Wendy Eisenberg on the guitar and vocals, Steve Cameron on bass and Josh Daniel on drums. Their music is centered around the math rock type sound with quick guitar riffs and changes in time, sometimes cranking it up to metal level attack on all fronts. Eisenberg sings with a sweet and delicate voice, which is a bit unusual when the music is on overdrive, but more often than that, their voice becomes a part of the band's slinky sound. Their guitar work is phenomenal across the board and this is the outfit where they go wild and do some old school shredding so to speak. Cameron and Daniel, on the other hand, often lay out a deep pocket, but also take their time to go to town when things heat up. It is a highly dynamic band that is powered by plenty of skills and ideas for sure.
