Clea Anaïs

Originally a member of the Calgary-based indie pop band Raleigh with an artsy bend, Clea Anaïs is a singer-songwriter who released her first solo work in 2022. Her music follows on the same type of trajectory with more or less the same elements, though she leans a bit heavier towards the indie lane, with a touch dreaminess in her overall sound that matches the misty quality of her voice as well as some electronic folk tendencies around the edges. There is also a subtle jazzy touch she brings to her delivery as a vocalist. Her songs tend to have a calm, relaxed flow, with a strong melodic hook at their heart, and often building into lush textures and a sense of spaciousness.
