Being Dead

Being Dead is a light-hearted and free-spirited indie band that mixes psychedelia with surf rock, garage rock, and freak folk as well as plenty of charm to go around. The band follows a fairly loose structure as they swing between their influences depending on how they feel at any given moment. Members Falcon Bitch and Gumball take turns on the guitar and drums as well as vocals, while Ricky Moto provides the foundation on the bass. Their sense of playfulness is reflected in a song like "We Are Being Dead", where they are having loads of fun singing about the fun they're having doing what they do. This attitude leads to music that is as scrappy as it is vibrant, turning what would normally be a gritty garage sound into something joyful.
