Alfie Templeman is a singer-songwriter with bright and upbeat songs pop brimming with a sense of excitement and youthful joy. His songs have an infectious and deeply earnest tone, in no small part due to his ability to write tunes that are either straight up earworms or somewhere up there, close to that line, and the well-polished and appealing arrangements he then gives them. The overall feel of his music is not unlike Dayglow or George Ezra in terms of its buoyancy. His talent was apparent from the start when he signed up with the Chess Club label at the age of 15. He has been pretty prolific since then, releasing multiple EPs and mini LPs until his first full length album Mellow Moon in 2022. A handful of years into his career, he has already put together an quite affable body of work.
