Dayglow

Dayglow is the singer-songwriter Sloan Struble, who first broke out with songs he recorded in his bedroom while he as in high school and put on Soundcloud, which later became the basis for his first album, Fuzzybrain in 2018. He is a fine purveyor of the kind of sunny and light-hearted indie pop that one would put on top of their summer playlist to blare at the beach. The music is consistently upbeat in mood and is filled with a lot of airy energy that makes generous use of '80s pop elements in the production and instrumentation, especially with the synth lines, the bouncy bass, and the playfully syncopated beats. The songs are quite catchy throughout and Struble delivers them with his full on commitment to keep everyone smiling ear to ear.
