Hangout Fest is a Gulf Shores, Alabama, music festival that takes place on the city's beaches and debuted in 2010. It's a 3-day, mid-May festival founded by the owners of the Hangout restaurant, also on the beach in Gulf Shores. While its first year was negatively impacted by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, it enjoyed a strong recovery and has regularly sold out since.
Lineups tend to be eclectic and include Rock/Pop, Indie, Hip-hop, R&B and Electronic acts and big name headliners.
