The Chainsmokers

The Chainsmokers are the electronics duo Alex Pall and Drew Taggart who produce dance oriented electronic music that covers the range between EDM and electronic pop. They bring together a lot of the current trends in pop music, including trap beats, the big anthem sound, emo-curious melodies, duets with guest singers, and so on. And they have been very successful in that particular lane. Between their catchy tunes and inventive production, they seem to be stringing earworm quality songs one after the other and releasing albums like clockwork (except during the pandemic years). Their 2022 album So Far So Good catches them changing it up a little where their focus shifts to more than usual levels of song crafting, turning the club sound down half a notch, and bringing their vocals a step closer to the spotlight.
