Bayside

Bayside is a hard rock band originally from Queens, who has been in this business since the mid '00s. Their music has not gone through any major change in direction since their early days when they started as a mixture of polished punk rock (think Green Day) and emo. The riffs became more hard rock style, with an eye towards metal, combining all the necessary ingredients: the steady thumping bass lines, loud lead guitars, the accented snare, rousing choruses, the whole thing.  Where they deviate from this basic set up in their acoustic album series they have been releasing irregularly, where they re-mix acoustic versions of some of their songs with a few originals also added in.
