Viagra Boys is a band from Stockholm whose music lies somewhere between conventional indie rock and the harder edges of post-punk familiar from bands like IDLES. Their music involves a thumping bass that often takes the lead on the riffs, with the drums steadying the rhythm section, while the guitars and keyboards provide the motifs and the sax does its sax thing -- which is a little like what the sax used to do with some of the '80s new wave bands, such as Men At Work and The English Beat, though with a much edgier overall tone. The band has been expanding their scope by incorporating elements of blues (see Toad) and rockabilly (6 Shooter), as seen through their own lens, of course. The lead singer Sebastian Murphy, practically the illustrated man of the band, brings a lot of charisma and confidence to the vocals.
