Totalement Sublime

Totalement Sublime is a project developed by Marc-Antoine Barbier of Choses Sauvages and two members of Foreign Diplomats and Frais Dispo, Thomas Bruneau Faubert and Élie Raymond, which allows the artists the chance to shed their skin a little and engage in a type of music that stands outside their usual. They work in experimental electronic music from a broad stylistic range, but typically with a lush sense of arrangement that is strong on atmospherics. They create catchy pop songs with soft edges and a strong beat at times, though their more recent work also brings some of Brian Eno style ambient tones into the mix. On some occasions they find themselves going into the classic "cosmic" direction or taking some time to explore various textures from an experimental angle as well.
