Thallo

Thallo is singer-songwriter Elin Edwards who creates calm and expansive songs that feel pastoral to some extent and come with a subtle jazz tinge. Being a multi-instrumentalist, she has the ability to choose from a variety of textures to build her songs around, which is often a conventional guitar or piano set up, but she also brings in her clarinet, which adds that lovely wood resonance to her songs. She has a background in classical and jazz, elements that seep into her overall sound quite a bit as well. Her songs are sweet and charming, often melodically understated, and her arrangements, generally restrained. She sings both in English and Welsh.
