Salami Rose Joe Louis

Salami Rose Joe Louis is the multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and producer Lindsay Olsen, who originally came out of the Bay Area with a very well-defined, instantly recognizable sound that combines her whispery, under her breath delivery with bedroom pop type production. Her music is a combination of a few outstanding elements, including quietly jazzy threads over electronic layers, a sneaky ambient feel, artsy song structures, and beats that may faintly recall hip-hop at times. There is a Stereolab impression that also comes across, albeit a particularly subdued version of it. Low-key production is practically a component of her music, expressed in hushed tones, as if she's trying not wake up her neighbors in the wee hours.
