Kairos Creature Club

Kairos Creature Club (KCC in short) started out as essentially a side project for its two leads, Lena Simon and Glenn Van Dyke, an outlet where they can expand their musical scope away from the psychedelic surf and garage punk bands they have been playing with (La Luz and BOYTOY, respectively). That kind of explains the variety that goes into in their work: there is some dream pop in the mix, some retro pop with French flavors (vibes of Melody's Echo Chamber), and a touch of electronic, plus a subtle pull in the direction of psychedelic surf and garage style that one may catch glimpses of. Despite the variety of threads that run through their music, the band does a great job at maintaining a consistent sound and feel while earning bonus points for keeping their songs catchy and summery.
