Reptaliens

Reptaliens are a band that takes a fairly mellow approach to their psychedelic-inspired, synth driven dream pop that is perhaps best appreciated by people who prefer their music with subtle humor and a take-it-easy attitude. The core of the band is Bambi and Cole Browning, two established songwriters in the Portland scene before they got married and started working together. As they grew a steady band around them, their music evolved from their woozy bedroom pop into a woozy hybrid of synth pop and dream pop, until the pandemic happened, and they went back to working as a duo, stripping down the synths and creating woozy, dreamy pop. They have continued to turn out organic and relaxed melodies along the way. Bambi is the vocalist with a soft, velvety voice that works very well with Cole's swirly guitars and the spongy sound the duo has developed.
