iamamiwhoami

iamamiwhoami is a multimedia collective formed by Singer Jonna Lee (also working as ionnalee), producer Claes Björklund, and cinematographer John Strandh (and art director Agustín Moreaux, originally). They have been releasing their music primarily in the form of music videos. They were anonymous at first, but that did not last long. Their first collection was bounty, originally released in 2010, repackaged as an album later in 2013. The music is essentially electronic/synth pop that had a somewhat harder, occasionally harsher edge, early on. Subsequent albums saw that sound softened and rounded off into dance-oriented percussive synth pop. The band came back from a hiatus in 2022 with Be Here Soon, with an expansive folktronica sound. That was also when the blending of ionnalee and iamamiwhoami became more overt, as records in both catalogs started getting relabelled for both on most streaming platforms.
