Jonna Lee, a singer-songwriter who shot to prominence as the vocalist and frontwoman of the iamamiwhoami multimedia group. The kind of music she produced when she adopted the ionnalee moniker for her solo work in the late '10s was fairly close to what she was doing at iamamiwhoami with her partner Claes Björklund, especially in 2014's Blue. Her solo albums were primarily in electropop, heavily driven by synths, with a big, bold pop sound crossing over to dance. She has moved towards folk and folktronica since then, which was especially prominent in imamiwhoami's 2022 album Be Here Soon. Lee has also been bringing these two branches of her musical output under a shared roof recently, going as far as to relabel her catalog jointly under both ionalee and iamamiwhomi. The pair of albums she released in 2024, Close Your Eyes and Blund are English and Swedish versions of the same album.
