Hooveriii

Hooveriii (which is to say, Hoover 3) is a band that has been going through some stylistic changes since its inception in the mid '10s, moving between different flavors of psychedelic rock over the years. They currently combine '70s glam sound, classic rock guitar grooves, and a jam band mindset. This direction was established in their post-pandemic album Water from the Frogs (2021) but was first hinted at on their previous self-titled 2019 album, where the band was otherwise busy happily adding some early prog and krautrock elements into their mix. Going further back, their initial work had a more synth driven, hazy, choppy sound that occupied a different headspace, though they were still within the bounds of psychedelia.
