Field Medic

Field Medic is the indie folk artist and singer-songwriter Kevin Patrick Sullivan, who writes songs with a nice and gentle flow and highly personal lyrics that are remarkably open and honest in their tone. He normally works in the lo-fi format which he upgraded to a proper studio set up on 2022's grow your hair long without changing any of his core dynamics. He is typically accompanied by his acoustic guitar, and sometimes by an acoustic band composed of a drum set, a piano, or a second guitar as he brutally dissects some complex emotions. There are some occasional Neil Young vibes to his presentation, especially when he turns to his harmonica. His songs are quite melodic and memorable in that they tend to stay with the listener due to the strength of the tunes as well as their personal and introspective nature.
