Enumclaw

Enumclaw is an indie rock band based in Tacoma, Washington that looks and sounds like a band directly from the Seattle/Pacific Northwest lineage. They are scrappy, lo-fi, and deep into the '90s alt-rock sound. They do not always grunge out. Quite a bit of their songs occupy the mid-tempo range that embraces the stretchy, lackadaisical style of Dinosaur Jr while vocalist Aramis Johnson gives you hints of J. Mascis feel and drawl in the way he delivers his lines. The songs are built around some solid hooks, and they feel completely authentic in the way they capture and expand on a sound that defined cool at its peak.
