Egg Drop Soup

Egg Drop Soup is a Los Angeles based band that plays scrappy indie rock with a punk rock attack, a DIY attitude and a rebellious streak. On the other hand, they are remarkably good at coming up with melodic songs that are downright catchy underneath all the amped up rough presentation Bassist Samantha Westervelt leads on the vocals, and combines with guitarist Olivia Saperstein for wonderfully sloppy and shouty choruses in the old school punk style. Together with drummer Bailey Chapman, they put on a solid power trio action, shifting between indie and hard rock sounds as the spirit moves them. All this makes for music that is utterly infectious and exciting.
