Clipping, stylized as clipping. (with the period at the end), is an experimental band that mixes edgy hip-hop and abrasive electronic music with their love for classic horror and sci-fi movies. Producers William Hutson and Jonathan Snipes create eerie textures and a glitchy flow using electronic effects, industrial noise, and concrete music style found sound segments. That sets the stage for rapper Daveed Diggs to lay out his theatrical show featuring scenes that would feel right at home in an '80s horror flick or dystopian sci-fi, backed by tape loops from actual movies and sound samples.  He has a restless style with rapid fire delivery with precision rhythms and loads of swagger. Their albums are usually constructed around certain themes or around specific concepts.
