Blondshell

Blondhsell is the stage name used by singer-songwriter Sabrina Teitelbaum, who writes often mid-tempo confessional indie rock songs with strong and clear melodies that are as catchy as they are understated. Her songs have a bit of a folk edge, though she is more likely to turn up the crunch and put out alt-rock scorchers (see "Veronica Mars" and elsewhere). Her songs are candid and introspective, with slices of life being offered in her lyrics. There are strong Liz Phair vibes to her deft phrasing anmd the overall tone she strikes. Teitelbaum recorded mostly electronic oriented pop songs under the name BAUM before she shifted directions and presumably found her voice as Blondshell.
