The Echo is a musical venue in Los Angeles, California. It has a relatively small space, a well-maintained bar and a cozy atmosphere. It often attracts up-and-coming bands and artists and tends to favor indie and alternative acts, often tending towards the edgier side. It used to be a nightclub and the internal design, the built-in benches and the area separated for sound engineers is likely a carry-over from that. The ownership never took down the original signage, which is why it says Nayarit and not The Echo. It was owned by Spaceland up until 2019, and then it was sold to Live Nation along with its sister venue Echoplex, which is technically in the same building but without any direct access.
On the right side when facing the stage, directly across from the door.
On the left when facing the stage, go past the bar, the doors are on the left.
There is some street parking in the area, but bear in mind that it is on a street with a fairly active night life. Local businesses around the area tend to open their parking structures up for event parking in the evenings.
