Flow Festival Helsinki 2026

Flow Festival Helsinki began in 2004 as the brainchild of producer Tuomas Kallio and the Nuspirit Helsinki collective who felt Helsinki and Finland in general, was in need of the sort of alternative music festival that had been emerging around the world in the previous decade plus. What began as a small, 2-day, indoor affair, focusing mostly on soul and jazz, has grown into a major European arts festival. It now takes place outdoors over 3 days at the site of a decommissioned power plant, which provides an industrial chic backdrop for its artfully designed festival facilities. Its lineups now feature a wide variety of acts from most popular genres, both internationally known and regional favorites.
