Sailor Honeymoon

Sailor Honeymoon (세일러 허니문) is a South Korean trio with a strong DIY esthetic, whose music comes with the type of rough edges and stripped down arrangements that immediately earns a band their "punk" label. To be fair, some of their songs do swing in that direction, but they frequently tack fairly closely to a basic form of alt-rock. Their vocals are delivered in English for the most part, focusing on everyday aspects of life, as opposed to expressions of systematic anger or outrage. The band is fully plugged into the idioms of the genre they are playing in, though they also keep things more on the easy-going side.
