Hannah Cohen

Hannah Cohen is a singer-songwriter and an indie pop artist who sings mostly somber songs in the folk style and with a somewhat dreamy delivery. Her songs are on the quiet and gentle side, typically around the mid-tempo range. She turned a little synth friendly in her second album Pleasure Boy (2015). Before that, she had a much stronger indie folk orientation when she first started out and her songs had a darker edge. Currently, she maintains a relaxed tone with a relatively loose feel, and a clear and calm sound. Her voice tends to drive her songs, and she sings with a nice range, hitting some nice high notes that she doesn't seem to mind holding for a while. She also introduces interesting guitar work every now and then.
