Thandii

The duo of Jessica Berry and Graham Godfrey perform as Thandii, with an eclectic style that brings in a lot of lo-fi soul, funk, and electronic music from a pop angle. Trip-hop is also in the mix, and pretty much a foundational sound for them early on. There are elements of dream pop and subtle nods at jazz as well, weaving in and out of their music along with the other threads mentioned before. All this is a lot to juggle for sure, but the band ties it all together organically in ways not too dissimilar to how Stereolab has been operating for decades, which may be a source of inspiration for them to some extent. They have been staying on the groovier side of the street these days, and playing with a nice pep in their step.
