Telemakus

Telemakus is a prime example of a generation of jazz musicians who make beat making a core element of their approach. He is a pianist, composer, and a producer whose music incorporates breakbeats and fusion elements, both classic and contemporary. There are plenty of funky bits in his pieces, a sense of motion that is blended into the sci-fi motifs and that are part of his overall presentation and track titles. That is paired with the home-made, lo-fi feel that is prevalent in his production that adds to the warmth of his recordings. He is a remarkable performer on keyboards, and likes to maintain the underlying sense of grooviness in his pieces when he is stretching in an experimental direction.
