Sea Lemon is singer-songwriter Natalie Lew who creates bubbly uptempo songs with bright sounds that seem to be pulling from a variety of sources as influences. Chief among them is The Cure's Disintegration era pop songs with all their melancholic undercurrents and especially Robert Smith's shimmering guitar tones. There is also a fair amount of '80s jangle pop in her music, as well as some dream pop haze underneath all the sparkle. Her songs are nicely melodic and she sings them with her misty, young voice in a relaxed, slightly lackadaisical style that is key to the overall feel of her work.
